In the first blog post, Olaf Kampers, one of our SAP Technology Experts, shares his insights. He shares his reasons for choosing INNOV8ION. Why did you start working at INNOV8iON?
Julian, our SAP Technology Expert, tells us why he chose INNOV8iON: “In 2020, I started working at INNOV8iON right after graduating. The combination of being a consultant and actually building technical solutions really appealed to me. I also thought it would be really fun to work at a young, small company. This creates a diverse dynamic and offers plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and help build the company. These two things have really paid off for me over the past few years.”
Olaf, who has now been working at INNOV8ION for 3.5 years, adds: “At the start of my career, I thought it was especially important to have enough variety in my work so that I’d have the freedom to figure out what I really enjoy.” What immediately appealed to me were the many events organized by INNOV8iON—not only internally, but also for the Dutch SAP community. “I saw it as a great opportunity to develop my teaching skills alongside my development work.”
“It’s been 3.5 years now, and I still really enjoy working here. That’s largely due to the great company culture, but also because of all the cool things I’ve had the chance to do over the past few years. For example, I spent five weeks in Bonaire on an assignment to work with a team of consultants to oversee the rollout of a new SAP system. I also had the opportunity to give a presentation on the impact of AI during the VNSG Developer Day, among other things. “So, some wonderful experiences—ones I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to miss!”
