What is SAP BTP?
SAP BTP is SAP’s extension and innovation platform. We use BTP as a side-by-side extension platform (link extensibility) on top of S/4HANA (on-premise, private, and public cloud) and other SAP systems. This allows us to build custom solutions without modifying the core of SAP. Clean core stays clean.
At BTP, we develop modular custom apps using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), in JavaScript or TypeScript. We take care of everything involved:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud Transport Management
- Cloud Logging & Monitoring
- Feature flags
- Security and Identity Management
We design BTP landscapes intelligently, from global accounts down to subaccounts, tailored to the organization and its governance structure. We do this manually when necessary, but preferably using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform—reproducible, scalable, and manageable.
Sovereignty is also playing an increasingly important role in this context. With the Sovereign Cloud, SAP offers the ability to combine cloud innovation with strict requirements regarding data location, security, and compliance. We explicitly take this into account in our BTP implementation, ensuring that you maintain control without hindering innovation.

- Build Work Zone as a central portal for all your SAP apps (including SAP Fiori)
- Build Process Automation for the Next Generation of Workflows and Task Management
Tasks from various systems are consolidated in the Task Center, accessible via Work Zone. And yes: AI isn’t just a buzzword for us. We use it to build smarter, speed up maintenance, and enhance processes where it truly adds value.
